Got a plumbing problem that won't wait? You're not alone. Cooper City homeowners deal with everything from clogged drains to burst pipes, and you need a plumber who shows up fast, fixes it right, and doesn't surprise you with hidden fees.
Trust Rooter brings honest, reliable plumbing service to Cooper City properties. We're Florida State Licensed plumbers serving Southwest Broward County with expertise in everything from emergency repairs to complete bathroom remodels. Our trucks stay fully stocked, so we can usually fix your problem the same day you call.
Living in Cooper City comes with great schools, family-friendly neighborhoods, and plenty of parks. It also comes with specific plumbing headaches you won't find everywhere else.
The water here is hard. Really hard. South Florida pulls water from the Biscayne Aquifer, which runs through limestone. That means your water has high mineral content. You'll see white, crusty buildup on faucets and inside your showerheads. That's calcium and magnesium doing their damage. Over time, this mineral buildup clogs aerators, restricts water flow, and kills water heaters early.
Cooper City sits in an area with a high water table. Your pipes stay constantly surrounded by moist soil. Tree roots from the beautiful oaks, pines, and palms around Embassy Lakes and Monterra Cooper City naturally grow toward that moisture. Once roots find even a tiny crack in your sewer line, they push inside and grow fast. Before you know it, you've got a major blockage.
Many homes in neighborhoods like Cooper Colony and Stirling Acres were built in the 1970s and 1980s. If your property is over 30 years old, you might be living with galvanized steel pipes that corrode from the inside. Cast iron pipes crack. Even copper develops pinhole leaks. If you're seeing rusty water or dealing with frequent clogs, outdated plumbing is probably the reason.
Some areas of Cooper City, especially properties near canals or in lower-lying sections, deal with septic systems instead of municipal sewers. Septic systems need different care than standard plumbing. They can't handle certain products, and they need regular pumping to work properly.
Florida's wet season dumps heavy rain on us. That puts extra stress on your drainage systems. Poor drainage can lead to water backing up into your home. Sandy soil conditions mean pipes can shift over time, creating leaks at joints and connections.
Plumbing emergencies don't care about your schedule. Pipes burst at 3 AM. Water heaters flood your garage before work. Toilets overflow when you have company.
We answer emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When you call, you talk to a real person who can dispatch a licensed plumber to your location fast. Our technicians drive fully equipped trucks with the parts most jobs need already loaded. We fix most emergencies on the first visit, even in the middle of the night.
We handle burst pipes, major leaks, sewer backups, complete loss of hot water, gas leaks, and overflowing fixtures. Water damage gets worse every hour, so don't wait. Call us right away.
Slow drains drive you crazy. Completely blocked drains create disasters. Your kitchen sink backs up from grease and food particles. Bathroom drains clog with hair and soap scum. By the time most people call us, they've tried those chemical drain cleaners that promise everything and deliver nothing.
Here's the truth. Those liquid drain products rarely work on serious clogs. They can actually damage your pipes over time. Basic snaking creates a hole through the blockage, but it leaves buildup on your pipe walls. The clog comes back in a few months.
We use professional equipment that actually solves the problem. For simple clogs from hair or paper, we use drain snakes and motorized augers. These work great for minor obstructions without damaging your pipes.
For stubborn problems or clogs that keep coming back, we bring in hydro jetting equipment. This uses water pressure up to 4,000 PSI to completely clean your pipes. It removes grease, mineral scale, tree roots, and decades of accumulated gunk. Your drains flow like they're brand new.
Before we start work, we often run a video camera through your pipes. This shows us exactly what's blocking your drain. You can watch the video feed yourself and see what we're dealing with. No guessing, no surprises.
Cold showers are terrible. Water heaters typically last 8 to 12 years in Cooper City's climate. Hard water and mineral buildup can cut that time even shorter.
We work with every type of water heater out there. Traditional tank models (gas or electric). Tankless units that never run out of hot water. Hybrid systems that save energy.
Common water heater problems include strange rumbling noises (that's sediment buildup at the bottom), leaks from the tank or connections, not enough hot water for your household, and lukewarm water when it should be hot. We can fix most of these issues if you catch them early.
If your water heater is under 8 years old and needs a simple repair like a new heating element or thermostat, fixing it usually makes sense. If it's over 10 years old, leaking from the tank itself, or making loud banging noises, replacement costs less in the long run.
Tankless water heaters are popular in Cooper City homes around Rock Creek and Villas of Monterra. They save space, provide endless hot water, and last up to 20 years. The downside? They cost more upfront and need annual maintenance. Hard water clogs the heat exchanger if you don't flush it regularly. We handle tankless installation, repairs, and the yearly descaling these units need.
Some leaks announce themselves loudly with water spraying everywhere. Others hide behind walls or under your foundation for months, quietly wasting water and causing damage.
If your water bill jumped without explanation, you probably have a leak somewhere. A toilet that runs constantly wastes 200 gallons per day. A faucet dripping once per second wastes over 3,000 gallons per year. Even small leaks add up fast on your utility bill.
Hidden leaks are trickier to find. We use specialized equipment to locate them without tearing apart your property. Electronic listening devices detect the sound of water escaping from pipes. Thermal imaging cameras spot temperature differences that show where moisture is hiding. Pressure testing helps us isolate problem areas.
Slab leaks need special attention. These happen when pipes under your concrete foundation start leaking. South Florida's high water table and sandy soil make slab leaks fairly common in Cooper City. Warning signs include warm spots on your floor, cracks in walls or tile, the sound of running water when everything's turned off, and water bills that suddenly spike.
Slab leaks need immediate attention. Water under your foundation causes serious structural damage over time. We locate the exact leak position using specialized equipment, then explain your repair options. Sometimes we can access the pipe directly. Other times, trenchless repair or rerouting the pipe makes more sense. We'll give you the pros and cons of each approach.
Pipes don't last forever. Galvanized steel corrodes and restricts water flow. Cast iron cracks. Even copper develops pinhole leaks, especially in areas with hard water.
If your Cooper City property is over 30 years old, especially in neighborhoods like Griffin Estates or Country Glen, you might be living with pipes that should be replaced. Signs include rusty or discolored water, frequent leaks popping up in different spots, low water pressure throughout the house, and visible corrosion on exposed pipes.
We work with all pipe materials. PVC for drain lines. Copper for water supply. PEX tubing for both hot and cold water (this flexible material resists corrosion and handles temperature changes better than rigid pipes).
Modern trenchless technology lets us repair or replace pipes without digging up your entire yard or breaking through walls everywhere. Pipe relining coats the inside of existing pipes with tough epoxy. This seals leaks and prevents future corrosion. For severely damaged pipes, pipe bursting breaks apart the old pipe while pulling new pipe into place at the same time. Your lawn stays intact.
Your main sewer line carries all wastewater from your property to the municipal system (or your septic tank). When it backs up, you've got a serious problem that can damage property and create health hazards.
Tree roots cause most sewer line issues in Cooper City. Roots naturally grow toward water and nutrients. Your sewer line offers both. They squeeze through tiny cracks at pipe joints, then expand inside the pipe. Eventually, they form massive blockages that stop everything from draining.
We start with sewer line locating to map your main line's path. Then we run a video camera inspection to see what's blocking it. The footage shows us exactly what we're dealing with. Roots, collapsed pipes, grease buildup, or foreign objects that shouldn't be there.
If roots have infiltrated your sewer line, hydro jetting usually clears them out. The high-pressure water cuts through roots and scours your pipes clean. Severe damage might require pipe relining or replacement. We'll explain all your options with clear pricing before we start any work.
Toilets seem simple until they don't work right. A running toilet wastes water and money. Clogs are embarrassing and unsanitary. Leaks at the base can rot your floor and subfloor underneath.
We fix every common toilet issue. Running toilets usually need a new flapper valve or fill valve (these are inexpensive parts that wear out). Weak flushes might mean blocked jets under the rim or a problem with the flush valve. Leaks at the base often come from a failed wax ring seal. Cracks in the tank or bowl require replacement because they can't be repaired.
If your toilet dates from before 1994, it probably uses 3.5 to 7 gallons per flush. Modern EPA WaterSense certified toilets use just 1.28 gallons while flushing just as well. Upgrading saves water and money on your utility bills.
A dripping faucet is more than annoying. One drip per second wastes over 3,000 gallons yearly. That's water you're paying for that goes straight down the drain.
We repair leaky faucets by replacing worn washers, O-rings, and cartridges. But if your fixtures are old or you're updating your kitchen or bathroom, we install new faucets, sinks, showerheads, and accessories that match your style.
Modern low-flow fixtures cut water use without sacrificing performance. You save money on utilities while helping conserve our water resources.
Garbage disposals make cleanup easier, but they need proper care. Never put grease, coffee grounds, eggshells, or fibrous vegetables down your disposal. These items cause clogs and damage the unit.
When disposals jam, make grinding noises, or leak, we can often repair them. If the motor burned out or the unit is over 10 years old, replacement makes more sense than expensive repairs. We install all major brands and recommend the right size for your household's needs.
Your property's water line brings fresh water from the municipal supply to your home. Breaks or leaks waste water and flood your yard. Old galvanized lines corrode inside, reducing pressure and potentially contaminating your water.
We repair and replace water lines using modern materials that resist corrosion. If you're getting low water pressure throughout your property, the main water line might be the problem instead of individual fixtures.
Backflow preventers protect Cooper City's drinking water from contamination. These devices stop water from flowing backward into the municipal system. Florida Building Code requires backflow preventers in many situations, and they need annual testing by certified plumbers. We hold Backflow Prevention Certification and handle testing, repairs, and installations.
Video Camera Inspections: We send waterproof cameras through your pipes to see exactly what's happening inside. This eliminates guessing and helps us choose the most effective repair method. You can watch the feed yourself.
Hydro Jetting: High-pressure water at up to 4,000 PSI completely cleans your pipes. It removes grease, mineral deposits, tree roots, and stubborn blockages that regular snaking can't touch.
Water Filtration and Softeners: Concerned about hard water ruining your pipes and appliances? We install whole-house filtration systems and water softeners that remove minerals, chlorine, and contaminants. These systems protect your plumbing and improve your water's taste.
Gas Line Services: We're certified for gas line installation, repair, and leak detection. Gas leaks are dangerous. If you smell gas (it smells like rotten eggs or sulfur), leave immediately and call us from outside. We'll locate and fix the leak safely.
Well Pump Services: Some Cooper City properties have well water systems. We diagnose and repair well pump issues, replace failed pumps, and handle pressure tank problems.
Septic System Services: Properties with septic systems need specialized care. We provide septic inspections, pumping, repairs, and can install septic tank risers for easier access.
Florida State Licensed and Fully Insured: We hold proper licensing and carry full liability insurance. This protects you and your property. Never hire unlicensed plumbers. They might charge less, but you have no protection if something goes wrong.
Upfront, Transparent Pricing: We provide clear written estimates before starting work. No hidden fees. No surprise charges at the end. We charge by the job, not by the hour. If a repair takes longer than expected, you don't pay extra.
Background-Checked Technicians: Every plumber on our team has passed background checks and drug testing. They arrive in uniform with ID badges, driving marked vehicles. They respect your property, use protective coverings on your floors, and clean up thoroughly when they're done.
Same-Day Service Available: Most plumbing problems can't wait. Call us before noon and we'll usually get to you the same day. For true emergencies, we respond immediately, any time of day or night.
Written Warranties on Our Work: We guarantee our work with written warranties. If something we fixed fails during the warranty period, we'll repair it at no charge. We also use quality parts backed by manufacturer warranties.
Modern Professional Equipment: We invest in the latest diagnostic and repair tools. Video inspection cameras, hydro jetting machines, electronic leak detectors, and trenchless repair equipment help us diagnose accurately and fix problems efficiently.
Commercial Plumbing Expertise: We serve businesses throughout Cooper City including restaurants, offices, retail stores, and multi-family properties. Commercial work has different codes and requirements. We understand Broward County plumbing codes and health department standards for commercial properties.

Read MoreLee Everitt from Trust Rooter plumbing was here in 2 hrs after calling them because both toilets broke. He fixed 1, but the other one was too old and rusted...we had 1 that worked which was fine because we wanted to get 2 new ones. We got the new ones and a vanity with a new sink. Janeen in the office scheduled prompt installation. Lee came back and installed the new fixtures and did a great job. He was courteous, knowledgeable and meticulous. I highly recommend Trust Rooter for your plumbing needs.
Needed to replace an old leaking kitchen faucet with a new one we purchased at Home Depot. Called Trust Rooter at 9:15AM and was given a two-hour window appointment of 12 Noon-2PM that day. The service tech, Raul, soon called and asked if he could come an hour early. We said "sure"! He was professional, personable, and very knowledgeable. At the end, he checked to ensure there were no leaks. He neatly finished the job in under an hour. We asked him a few questions about some upcoming projects we may have, including the replacement of a hot water heater and he took the time to explain the process and what to expect with that job. He educated us as to how long the swap out would take and how it would be done. We certainly would ask for Raul to do that replacement when the need arises. We are so happy we have been able to find a new plumbing service to fill the void of recently losing our plumber of many years. It is rare to quickly feel comfortable with a service provider. You can certainly Trust Rooter!
Clogged tub. Very clogged. I tried everything. I called at 10am. Luis showed up at 11:10. Amazing time. Amazing employee. Cleaned everything ( even what he didn’t have to.). Professional and a genuine nice guy. The lady I spoke to on the first call was just as amazing. I will be using this company ONLY. Thank you
We woke up this morning to find that our dishwasher overflowed, and our kitchen was flooded. Needless to say it was a stressful Monday morning. The stress faded, once I spoke to Jeneane this morning. Jeneane was informative, kind, and a pleasure to work with - she helped me schedule my same day appointment, and I was able to get a free quote. The technician, Jose arrived within the 2 hour arrival window. Jose came out and fixed our garbage disposal. Before he did anything that would cost us money, he gave us 2 possible quotes based on a best case and worst case scenario. The cost was straightforward and reasonable which I appreciated. Jose educated us on what caused the issue and how to avoid it in the future. He was kind, courteous, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend this company enough. I had to call back after everything was said and done just to thank them again for everything! I will certainly be using them if I run into any plumbing issues in the future. You guys have earned a loyal customer. If you’re considering using them, consider this your sign to call them now.
