When your toilet won't stop running at 3 AM or you've got water pooling under the sink, you need a plumber who'll actually show up and fix it right. Not someone who gives you the runaround or hits you with surprise charges.
Trust Rooter brings honest, reliable plumbing service to Aventura homes and businesses. We're Florida State Licensed plumbers who've seen it all, from simple leaky faucets to complex slab leaks that require specialized equipment. Our trucks stay stocked with the parts most jobs need, so we can usually finish repairs the same day you call.
Living in Aventura comes with perks, but it also brings specific plumbing headaches you won't find everywhere. The water here is tough on your pipes and fixtures.
South Florida pulls water from the Biscayne Aquifer, which runs through limestone. That means hard water with high mineral content. You'll see white crusty buildup on your faucets and showerheads. That's calcium and magnesium. Over time, this buildup clogs aerators, restricts water flow, and shortens the life of your water heater.
The salt air near the coast corrodes metal pipes faster than you'd think. If your property is close to the Intracoastal or near Williams Island, copper pipes and fixtures can develop pinhole leaks. Galvanized pipes fare even worse.
Florida's high water table creates another issue. Your sewer lines sit in constantly moist soil. Tree roots from palms, oaks, and ficus trees grow toward that moisture. Once roots find a tiny crack in your sewer line, they grow inside the pipe and cause major blockages.
Buildings around Downtown Aventura and Aventura Lakes that were built before the 1990s often have aging pipes. Galvanized steel corrodes from the inside out. Cast iron cracks. If your water looks rusty or you're getting frequent clogs, outdated plumbing is probably why.
Plumbing disasters don't wait for convenient times. Pipes burst at night. Water heaters flood at dawn. Toilets overflow when you have guests.
We answer emergency calls 24 hours a day, every day. When you call, you talk to a real person who can send a licensed plumber to your location fast. Our technicians drive fully equipped trucks with common parts already loaded. Most emergencies get fixed on the first visit, even at 2 AM.
We handle burst pipes, severe leaks, sewer backups, complete loss of hot water, gas leaks, and overflowing fixtures. Water damage gets worse every hour you wait, so don't hesitate to call.
Slow drains are frustrating. Completely clogged drains create messy situations. Your kitchen sink near Aventura Mall backs up from grease and food particles. Bathroom drains fill with hair and soap residue. By the time you call, you've probably tried those chemical drain cleaners that promise miracles but deliver nothing.
Here's the truth about drain cleaning. Those liquid products rarely work on serious clogs, and they can actually damage your pipes over time. Snaking creates a hole through the blockage, but it leaves buildup on your pipe walls. That means the clog comes back in a few months.
We use two main methods depending on what's blocking your drain. For simple clogs from hair or paper, we use drain snakes and motorized augers. These work great for minor obstructions and won't damage your pipes.
For stubborn problems or recurring clogs, we recommend hydro jetting. This method uses water pressure up to 4,000 PSI to completely clean your pipes. It removes grease, mineral scale, tree roots, and decades of buildup. Your drains flow like they're brand new.
Before we start, we often run a video camera through your pipes. This shows us exactly what's causing the problem. You can watch the video feed yourself. No guessing, no surprises.
Cold showers wake you up, but not in a good way. Water heaters typically last 8 to 12 years in Aventura's climate. Hard water and mineral buildup can cut that time shorter.
We work with every type of water heater. Traditional tank models with gas or electric heating. Tankless units that never run out of hot water. Hybrid systems that combine tank storage with heat pump efficiency.
Common water heater problems include strange rumbling noises (that's sediment buildup), leaks from the tank or connections, not enough hot water, and lukewarm water when it should be hot. Most of these issues can be fixed if you catch them early.
If your water heater is under eight years old and needs a simple repair like a new heating element or thermostat, fixing it makes sense. If it's over ten years old, leaking from the tank itself, or needs major repairs, replacement costs less in the long run.
Tankless water heaters are popular in Aventura condos around Mystic Pointe and Porto Vita. They save space, provide endless hot water, and last up to 20 years. The catch? They cost more upfront and need annual maintenance. Hard water clogs the heat exchanger if you don't flush it regularly. We handle tankless installation, repairs, and the yearly descaling service these units need.
Some leaks announce themselves loudly. Others hide behind walls or under your foundation for months, quietly causing damage and wasting water.
If your water bill jumped without explanation, you probably have a leak somewhere. A toilet that runs constantly wastes 200 gallons per day. A faucet dripping once per second wastes over 3,000 gallons per year. Even small leaks add up fast.
Hidden leaks are trickier. We use specialized equipment to find them without tearing apart your property. Electronic listening devices detect the sound of water escaping pipes. Thermal imaging cameras spot temperature differences that indicate moisture. Pressure testing isolates problem areas.
Slab leaks deserve special attention. These happen when pipes under your concrete foundation start leaking. South Florida's high water table and soil conditions make slab leaks fairly common. Warning signs include warm spots on your floor, cracks in walls or tile, the sound of running water when everything's off, and skyrocketing water bills.
Slab leaks need immediate attention. Water under your foundation can cause serious structural damage. We locate the exact leak position, then explain your repair options. Sometimes we can access the pipe directly. Other times, trenchless repair or rerouting makes more sense.
Pipes wear out. Galvanized steel corrodes and restricts water flow. Cast iron cracks over time. Even copper develops pinhole leaks, especially near the coast where salt air attacks the metal.
If your Aventura property is over 30 years old, especially around Highland Lakes or Turnberry Estates, you might be living with pipes that should be replaced. Signs include rusty or discolored water, frequent leaks, low water pressure throughout the house, and visible corrosion on exposed pipes.
We work with all pipe materials. PVC for drain lines. Copper for water supply. PEX tubing for both hot and cold water (this flexible material resists corrosion and handles temperature changes better than rigid pipes).
Modern trenchless technology lets us repair or replace pipes without digging up your yard or breaking through walls everywhere. Pipe relining coats the inside of existing pipes with tough epoxy. This seals leaks and prevents future corrosion. For severely damaged pipes, pipe bursting breaks apart the old pipe while pulling new pipe into place at the same time.
Your main sewer line carries all wastewater from your property to the municipal system. When it backs up, you've got a serious problem that can damage your property and create health hazards.
Tree roots cause most sewer line issues in Aventura. Roots naturally grow toward water and nutrients. Your sewer line offers both. They squeeze through tiny cracks at pipe joints, then expand inside the pipe. Eventually, they form massive blockages that stop everything.
We start with sewer line locating to map your main line's path. Then we run a video camera inspection to see what's blocking it. The footage shows us exactly what we're dealing with: roots, collapsed pipes, grease buildup, or foreign objects.
If roots have infiltrated your sewer line, hydro jetting usually clears them out. The high-pressure water cuts through roots and scours your pipes clean. Severe damage might require pipe relining or replacement, but we'll explain all your options with clear pricing before we start work.
Toilets seem simple until they malfunction. A running toilet wastes water and money. Clogs are embarrassing and unsanitary. Leaks at the base can rot your floor and subfloor.
We fix every common toilet issue. Running toilets usually need a new flapper valve or fill valve. Weak flushes might mean blocked jets under the rim or a problem with the flush valve. Leaks at the base often come from a failed wax ring seal. Cracks in the tank or bowl require replacement.
If your toilet dates from before 1994, it probably uses 3.5 to 7 gallons per flush. Modern EPA WaterSense certified toilets use just 1.28 gallons while flushing just as effectively. Upgrading saves water and money.
A dripping faucet is more than annoying. One drip per second wastes over 3,000 gallons yearly. That's water you're paying for that goes straight down the drain.
We repair leaky faucets by replacing worn washers, O-rings, and cartridges. But if your fixtures are old or you're updating your space, we install new faucets, sinks, showerheads, and accessories that match your style.
Modern low-flow fixtures cut water use without sacrificing performance. You save money on utilities while helping conserve South Florida's water resources.
Garbage disposals make cleanup easier, but they need proper care. Never put grease, coffee grounds, eggshells, or fibrous vegetables down your disposal. These items cause clogs and damage the unit.
When disposals jam, make grinding noises, or leak, we can often repair them. If the motor burned out or the unit is over ten years old, replacement makes more sense. We install all major brands and recommend the right size for your household's needs.
Your property's water line brings fresh water from the municipal supply. Breaks or leaks waste water and flood your yard. Old galvanized lines corrode inside, reducing pressure and potentially contaminating your water.
We repair and replace water lines using modern materials that resist corrosion. If you're getting low water pressure throughout your property, the main water line might be the culprit instead of individual fixtures.
Backflow preventers protect Aventura's drinking water from contamination. These devices stop water from flowing backward into the municipal system. Florida Building Code requires backflow preventers in many situations, and they need annual testing by certified plumbers. We hold Backflow Prevention Certification and handle testing, repairs, and installations.
Video Camera Inspections: We send waterproof cameras through your pipes to see exactly what's happening inside. You can watch the feed yourself. This eliminates guessing and helps us choose the most effective repair method.
Hydro Jetting: High-pressure water at up to 4,000 PSI completely cleans your pipes. It removes grease, mineral deposits, tree roots, and stubborn blockages that snaking can't touch.
Water Filtration and Softeners: Concerned about hard water or water quality? We install whole-house filtration systems and water softeners that remove minerals, chlorine, and contaminants. These systems protect your plumbing and improve your water's taste.
Gas Line Services: We're certified for gas line installation, repair, and leak detection. Gas leaks are dangerous. If you smell gas (it smells like rotten eggs), leave immediately and call us. We'll locate and fix the leak safely.
Sump Pump Services: Some Aventura properties need sump pumps to manage water during Florida's rainy season. We install and maintain systems that keep basements and crawl spaces dry.
Florida State Licensed and Fully Insured: We hold proper licensing and carry full liability insurance. This protects you and your property. Never hire unlicensed plumbers. They might charge less, but you have no protection if something goes wrong.
Clear Pricing Before We Start: We provide written estimates before beginning work. No hidden fees. No surprise charges. We charge by the job, not by the hour. If a repair takes longer than expected, you don't pay extra.
Background-Checked Technicians: Every plumber on our team has passed background checks and drug testing. They arrive in uniform with ID badges, driving marked vehicles. They respect your property, use protective coverings, and clean up thoroughly.
Same-Day Service Available: Most plumbing problems can't wait. Call before noon and we'll usually get to you the same day. For true emergencies, we respond immediately, day or night.
Written Warranties on Work: We guarantee our work with written warranties. If something we fixed fails during the warranty period, we'll repair it at no charge. We also use quality parts backed by manufacturer warranties.
Professional Equipment: We invest in modern diagnostic and repair tools. Video inspection cameras, hydro jetting machines, electronic leak detectors, and trenchless repair equipment help us diagnose accurately and fix problems efficiently.
Commercial Plumbing Experience: We serve businesses throughout Aventura including restaurants, offices, retail stores, and apartment buildings. Commercial work has different codes and requirements. We understand Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade County regulations, and health department standards.
We're proud to serve all Aventura communities. Downtown Aventura properties near the Government Center and Arts & Cultural Center count on us for fast response. Read MoreLee Everitt from Trust Rooter plumbing was here in 2 hrs after calling them because both toilets broke. He fixed 1, but the other one was too old and rusted...we had 1 that worked which was fine because we wanted to get 2 new ones. We got the new ones and a vanity with a new sink. Janeen in the office scheduled prompt installation. Lee came back and installed the new fixtures and did a great job. He was courteous, knowledgeable and meticulous. I highly recommend Trust Rooter for your plumbing needs.
Needed to replace an old leaking kitchen faucet with a new one we purchased at Home Depot. Called Trust Rooter at 9:15AM and was given a two-hour window appointment of 12 Noon-2PM that day. The service tech, Raul, soon called and asked if he could come an hour early. We said "sure"! He was professional, personable, and very knowledgeable. At the end, he checked to ensure there were no leaks. He neatly finished the job in under an hour. We asked him a few questions about some upcoming projects we may have, including the replacement of a hot water heater and he took the time to explain the process and what to expect with that job. He educated us as to how long the swap out would take and how it would be done. We certainly would ask for Raul to do that replacement when the need arises. We are so happy we have been able to find a new plumbing service to fill the void of recently losing our plumber of many years. It is rare to quickly feel comfortable with a service provider. You can certainly Trust Rooter!
Clogged tub. Very clogged. I tried everything. I called at 10am. Luis showed up at 11:10. Amazing time. Amazing employee. Cleaned everything ( even what he didn’t have to.). Professional and a genuine nice guy. The lady I spoke to on the first call was just as amazing. I will be using this company ONLY. Thank you
We woke up this morning to find that our dishwasher overflowed, and our kitchen was flooded. Needless to say it was a stressful Monday morning. The stress faded, once I spoke to Jeneane this morning. Jeneane was informative, kind, and a pleasure to work with - she helped me schedule my same day appointment, and I was able to get a free quote. The technician, Jose arrived within the 2 hour arrival window. Jose came out and fixed our garbage disposal. Before he did anything that would cost us money, he gave us 2 possible quotes based on a best case and worst case scenario. The cost was straightforward and reasonable which I appreciated. Jose educated us on what caused the issue and how to avoid it in the future. He was kind, courteous, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend this company enough. I had to call back after everything was said and done just to thank them again for everything! I will certainly be using them if I run into any plumbing issues in the future. You guys have earned a loyal customer. If you’re considering using them, consider this your sign to call them now.
